Manila — our little escape
A small letter, and the moments that made me write it.

For your eyes only
I keep going back to these photos, not because they're perfect, but because I remember exactly how each one felt to stand next to you for. The neon sign at the hotel, your laugh cutting through the noise of the lobby — I remember thinking I'd rather be nowhere else.
That afternoon in the park, when the sky couldn't decide between sun and clouds, you kept turning around to find me. I want you to know I noticed every time, and I'll keep noticing, for as long as you'll let me.
And that night, in red, under the streetlights — you stood there so sure of yourself, and all I could think was how lucky I am that out of everyone, you choose to walk beside me.
This isn't a grand declaration. It's just a quiet thank you, for the ordinary hours that you make extraordinary, and for letting me be the one who gets to keep these moments with you.
Manila, with you
